We’re pleased to share that Cape Wrath has been named a finalist in the Best Independent
category at the Art & Olfaction Awards 2025.
The Art & Olfaction Awards recognise independent and artisan perfumery work that exists
beyond the conventions of the mainstream. To be acknowledged within this context is
meaningful, not only as recognition, but as part of a wider conversation around what fragrance can be.
Cape Wrath was conceived as a study of a place on the far north-western edge of Scotland,
where land gives way to something more elemental.
A landscape shaped by exposure.
Cold air, salt, seaweed and stone. Angelica carried on the wind. A coastline that resists
softness. The fragrance reflects that tension: stark, windswept and unadorned, yet quietly
expansive.
It is not a literal rendering, but an impression. A memory of standing at the edge, where the
familiar begins to fall away.
Winners will be announced later this year.
