Terror & Magnificence Eau De Parfum. Contrasting darkness with invigorating complexity, Terror & Magnificence takes its inspiration from the notorious Georgian architect Nicholas Hawksmoor.
Like Hawkesmoor's architechtural creations, Terror & Magnificence tips its cap to Ancient Egypt, combining church incense, candle wax, papyrus and kyphi with a wet stone accord reminiscent of that first downpour in London after a hot summer.
THE WEARING EXPERIENCE
Top Notes: Saffron, Black Pepper, Birch Tar
Both intimidating and beautiful, the fragrance opens with rich kyphi, incense and candle wax, like stepping into a forgotten church.
Heart Notes: Incense, Tobacco Absolute, Kyphi
Warm resinous incense, candle wax and dry woods form the heart.
Base Notes: Myrrh Resin, Benzoin Resin, Labdanum, Vetiver, Wet Stone Accord
Drying to a mineral base, where wet stone, vetiver and resins linger.
